At YFI, we are committed to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by families trapped in cycles of poverty and distress migration. Each year, thousands of families leave their homes to work in Brick kilns.

They encounter harsh living conditions, unsafe drinking water, and food insecurity. Our work is rooted in the belief that every family, deserves access to basic necessities, education, and a safe environment to thrive. Through our partnership with AEA, we are taking an active initiative to transform the lives of 1,300+ children by establishing childcare and learning centers for these vulnerable communities.
 

With 87.72% of kilns relying on untreated, polluted groundwater and 70% of families are surviving on just one meal a day, the need for intervention is critical. 
 

Our efforts are focused on breaking the cycle of poverty by addressing immediate needs, such as access to food security and clean drinking water in a sustainable model.
